First generation of our fully automated MTP dosing module for laboratory and pilot production with sophisticated media.
Our design of this dosing module is based on the designs of the VDI Modular Automation Group and the requirements of various operator projects. The core functionality is the storage of liquid media in a tank, which can be flushed with (inert) gas. The module can be used both as a storage tank, but in particular also as a buffer or product store. The design, including internal circulation, allows the medium to be kept moving continuously. This in turn enables both pressure-driven and flow-driven dosing of the medium in subsequent processes.

In the initial phase, various approaches for implementing the procedural task are discussed. It is assessed how the design integrates into any existing infrastructure or other modules and which capabilities must be guaranteed for versatile and optimal operation.
To make the design more concrete, the technical framework conditions are defined and evaluated. Initial simulations reveal the possibilities and limits of design, and parameters and services are defined.
After the design and virtual tests have been completed, the module is ready for production. Here, hardware is combined with predefined programs and the tests from the virtual world are carried out on the real system. The module is then ready for use by the customer for the first time.
The DosingModule_v01 can be transferred to your production as a licensed dosing module — with a proven, VDI-oriented design and the core functions of inerting, circulation, dosing and cleaning for laboratory and pilot production.
